River Run at The Taste of The Harvest Festival
The fourth-annual River Run 5K, 10K and Half Marathon will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, in conjunction with the Taste of the Harvest Festival in downtown Wenatchee, Wash.
Description: The three courses are largely on a paved trail along the Columbia River. The 5K and 10K are fast and flat, while the half-marathon is gently rolling. We encourage walkers to participate in all three events. Strolling along the river is a pastime of many!

Start time: 10 a.m.
Start line: Centennial Park, downtown Wenatchee
Finish line: Performing Arts Center Plaza, downtown Wenatchee
Packet pickup: 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Arlberg Sports in downtown Wenatchee; and 8 to 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at Centennial Park in downtown Wenatchee.

In-person registration: From 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Arlberg Sports in downtown Wenatchee; Race day, 8 to 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at Centennial Park in downtown Wenatchee.
Essentials: Aid stations will be located approximately every three miles. Stations will have will have water and energy drink. The three courses also have numerous port-o-potties and park restrooms.
Trash: Leave no trace. Be kind to our beautiful community and waterfront and clean up after yourself. Please don’t abandon trash. Waste baskets will be located along the course.
USAT Certified Course information: This event is not a sanctioned USATF event.
Views and features: These run and walk courses take participants on a beautiful, traffic-free course that encompasses downtown streets and the Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail along the banks of the Columbia River. Besides glimpses from river vistas, participants also enjoy views of the Cascade Mountains and foothills. The finish-line area is in the heart of the Taste of the Harvest Festival, with arts and crafts booths, music, a beer/wine garden, food, and plenty of kids activities.

Runner premiums: All finishers will receive a shirt (shirt size not guaranteed after Sept. 16, 2013) and $5 off the $20 fee (15 tastes and a souvenir glass) to the Taste of the Harvest Festival wine garden (must be 21 years or older).
Awards: The top three male and female finishers in all three distances receive a River Run Commemorative Award.
Timing and results: Timing is being handled by buduracing.com. Results will be posted on www.runwenatchee.com and the buduracing website after the race.
