WENATCHEE — Three local runners swept the women’s individual titles at Saturday’s Wenatchee Marathon, Half-Marathon and 10K.

Wenatchee’s Sarah Wicheta won the women’s marathon race, completing the 26.2-mile course in 3 hours, 23 minutes and 30 seconds. Karen Pleas of Wenatchee took home the women’s half-marathon title in 1 hour, 35 minutes and 7 seconds. And Cashmere’s Kea Paton blazed to victory in the women’s 10K in 42 minutes, 35 seconds.

The men’s marathon (and overall marathon title) was captured by Jim Neeway of Richland in 2:48.38.

Spokane’s Matt Zuchetto won the men’s half-marathon in 1:18:48, while Keegan Council of Gig Harbor clocked a 37:51 to win the men’s 10K race.

The 11th-annual event, which starts and finishes at the Stanley Civic Center, attracted about 1,200 registrants, according to organizing group TedDriven. It was held under sunny skies, with temperatures in the 50s at start time.
